MND: US Military Aid and Arms Sales Mislead Taiwan into Flames of War
6月26日下午，國(guó)防部舉行例行記者會(huì)，國(guó)防部新聞發(fā)言人張曉剛大校答記者問。
記者：據(jù)報(bào)道，美方近期邀請(qǐng)臺(tái)軍代表赴美觀摩美盟空軍部隊(duì)聯(lián)合演習(xí)。美眾議院撥款委員會(huì)近期通過2026財(cái)年“國(guó)防撥款法案”，其中包括5億美元援臺(tái)預(yù)算。請(qǐng)問發(fā)言人有何評(píng)論？
Question: According to media reports, the US side recently invited representatives of Taiwan’s military forces to observe the joint air exercise of the US and its allies. Lately, the US House Appropriation Committee approved the Fiscal Year 2026 Defense Appropriation Act, which includes a US$500 million budget for military assistance to Taiwan. What’s your comment?
張曉剛：我們堅(jiān)決反對(duì)美方與中國(guó)臺(tái)灣地區(qū)進(jìn)行任何形式的軍事勾連。不管是軍援、軍售還是其他什么名目，美方都是想把戰(zhàn)火引向臺(tái)灣，意在毀臺(tái)、害臺(tái)，用心極其險(xiǎn)惡。我們敦促美方恪守一個(gè)中國(guó)原則和中美三個(gè)聯(lián)合公報(bào)規(guī)定，停止向“臺(tái)獨(dú)”分裂勢(shì)力發(fā)出錯(cuò)誤信號(hào)。正告民進(jìn)黨當(dāng)局，“倚美謀獨(dú)”注定失敗，“以武拒統(tǒng)”死路一條。
Zhang Xiaogang: We firmly oppose any form of military collusion between the US and China’s Taiwan region. Such collusion, be it military aid, arms sale or under any other excuse, reveals the extremely malicious intention of the US to mislead Taiwan into the flames of war, harming Taiwan itself and destroying its interests. We urge the US side to abide by the one-China principle and the three China-US joint communiqués, and stop sending wrong signals to the “Taiwan independence” separatist forces. We warn the DPP authorities that “soliciting US support for independence” is doomed to fail, and “resisting reunification by force” is a dead end.
